My skin has been very dry recently, and my cheeks are particularly red and sore. I used to use Nivea as moisturiser, but my mum threw that away so I've been using a different one. It seemed to irritate my skin, and I thought that soothing 'savlon' (anti septic cream) would help my sore patches. But someone told me it dries skin out even more- is this true? I've switched to aloe vera now as recommended my a beautician friend, is this the best option?Does anti-septic cream dry out skin?

most anti septic creams have alcohol in them that will dry out your skin.
