I have a dry skin and i have tried different type of cream but they are making it look older.what should i do.?

But a friend of my ask me to use baby oil but i instanced on use Jergens cream.Can i still continue using itI have a dry skin and i have tried different type of cream but they are making it look older.what should i do.?
